Corneliu is a Master Inventor with over 30 issued or pending patents in such areas as networking, security, and cloud computing. Corneliu has held several important roles with increasing responsibilities at various companies over his career. Corneliu started his career as a software developer with Nortel, working on the ERS4500 stackable switches. He later worked for ENEA, providing real time OS kernel development. Following his work at ENEA, he migrated to IBM, where his team developed the Flex System Interconnect Fabric solution. Before joining 3nets, Corneliu held many positions at Lenovo including acting as the technical lead and team manager for the Cloud NOS platform team and leading the software engineer efforts for Lenovo’s Cloud Computing ThinkAgile CP platform. In the Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG), he also lead the design, architecture, and development of the on-prem compute team, while also providing a significant contributor role in the development of the entire on-prem/off-prem integrated solution. Corneliu holds a Masters degree in Microsystems Architectures from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Mobile Communications from the same university.
Frank brings more than 20 years of Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Product Development experience to 3nets. Frank holds multiple patents in the networking space. Before joining 3nets, Frank was a Product Management Leader at Cisco Systems responsible for developing and launching 3G/4G/5G wireless gateways. Frank started his career working for high-flying start-ups such as Cascade Communications, Ascend Communications, and Starent Networks(acquired by Cisco). He received an MS in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Immanuel has worked with various start-ups and other technology companies both large and small. In one of the start-ups, he helped develop one of the 1st IPSEC VPN hardware acceleration solutions in the industry. Cisco subsequently acquired the startup in 2001 for $181 million and it became the flagship security solution at the time, responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. After Cisco, Immanuel worked at Blade Network Technologies, IBM & Lenovo in various senior management capacities with 20+ years of engineering-related experience.
John has had an extremely diversified career in the telecommunications, internet, and wireless technology industry. After receiving an electrical engineering degree from the University of Virginia, he started his career in a telecommunications technology lab. His career quickly turned to more customer-facing roles as he migrated to sales engineering, field marketing, business development, new product introduction, product development, and product marketing organizations. These experiences have provided him with exposure to a wide array of customers and products serving small business, Enterprise, SLED, higher education, Federal government, and the data service provider marketplace.
